As the name implies, de-watering refers to the process of removing water from solids or sludge. Most industries that require the reuse of water perform this process. SIVTEK Separators are designed to serve the purpose of dewatering. To filter water and remove impurities, sludge mixers are fed onto fine mesh screens.
It is possible for the fine mesh to become clogged when water is filtered through a fine mesh. In order to avoid choking, Galaxy engineers have developed the MDK (Mesh Deblinding Kit) system to minimize the risk of choking during screening.
