Sand and limestone are the two main ingredients used to make glass. Depending on the nature of the glass, silica sand or other sands are combined with calcium oxide from limestone in the production of glass.
Initially, the sand contains moisture, impurities, and unwanted materials. To ensure that all unwanted substances and foreign particles are removed from the raw material prior to its use in glass manufacturing, it must be screened. Vibrating screeners & filters are the most effective means of removing and separating foreign particles from raw glass sand.
