There has been a tremendous increase in the use of tooth powder in the past decade. This is because it is considered an essential & most popular personal care product & it is associated with large groups of people. This is because, besides toothpaste, tooth powder is primarily used to brush teeth.
Making tooth powder starts with mixing precipitated chalk (Calcium Carbonate) with Thymol, Menthol & Camphor to form aroma compounds. The remaining ingredients, including soapstone powder, magnesium, and precipitated chalk, are ground up in large mortars or grinders. While the aroma compounds are being ground, the aroma compounds prepared earlier are slowly added. This is so that they are all mixed together and ground into a fine powder. The powder is ground up and removed from the packaging once it has been ground up.
Sieving & screening machines should be used before packaging so that the larger particles can be removed & separated from the finished product.
