Requirement & Challenges
Since they handle critical materials. An enclosed system is necessary to prevent hazards and foreign impurities from entering the system. Previously, they used a mechanical conveying system that produced excessive dust and required high maintenance costs. In addition, they were separated by more than 30 meters, which resulted in large product losses.
To facilitate the introduction of the powder transfer system into the production facility, they required a robust powder transfer system that is enclosed and compact. As well, they requested to see if the sieving machine could be connected to the system to automate the entire process.
Solution
When the salesperson and service engineer reached the factory, they observed and measured the powder conveying system to determine if Galaxy Sivtek could provide a solution. Our team observed that a mechanical conveying system had been replaced with our automated vacuum transfer system. Provide them with a feed hopper, suction wand, and vacuum control station. Vacuum control stations enable them to control and manage the timing of suction, vacuum opening, and vacuum closing valves, as well as filter stroke timing.
