Cleaning in place refers to automating the process of cleaning the interior surface of vibro screens, filters, and fittings. CIP is used for cleaning, unclogging, and lumping mesh screens and related fittings. Manually cleaning a closed system without a Clean In Place System causes a lot of delay and manpower, plus it’s not cost-effective since the production line has to be stopped.
In addition to cleaning, these solutions can also be used to unclog the mesh screen, so they’re used not just for cleaning, but also for unclogging.
